I have very thick coarse hair and am not finding this brush lives up to its expectations in terms of smoothing. I find the brush too big and bulky and still have to use my hairdryer and iron to do my fringe. I don’t want extra volume. Also It’s really not clear to me how to remove the detachable inlet grill to clean it. I’ve tried to twist off the grid at the base but it doesnt come off?? I’ve looked on Youtube but cannot find anything.
